Why Cans?
Aluminium cans are infinitely recyclable with no loss of quality. They are lightweight and convenient as well as offering 100% of the surface to showcase your brand. They prevent light and air from entering the product so ensuring the taste and freshness of the drink for longer than other packaging formats.
What is co-packaging and how does it work?
Co-packagers work with drinks companies to ensure the drinks are put into cans, kegs or bottles in the most efficient manner with the least wastage and most hygiene safety. We then package into boxes and ensure delivery on time. Outsourcing this means you can focus on the brand and sales.
What machines and processes do you have?
Canify has a 3 head, counter-pressure Codi canning line, in-line carbonation and nitro dosing. We also blend, pasteurise and label.
What types of products can you can?
We can most alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including RTD cocktails, wine, seltzers, juices, kombucha and water. Anything with dairy or solid ingredients adds complication but we can discuss.
What are the packaging options available?
We can, keg and bottle for customers but cans are the future!
What cans sizes are available?
We are set up for 150ml, 200ml and 250ml Slim cans and 330ml, 440ml and 500ml Standard cans. There are variations in each variety. We expect to include Sleek cans soon.
Can you handle small batches or large production runs?
Our MOQ is 1000L but we’re always happy to discuss because we like to work with start up’s and on new product development. We have the capability to do small trial runs and assist with new recipe design
Are you able to source ingredients and materials?
We have access to the industry’s wholesalers and specialists for ingredients. We can also access cans, ends and packaging materials for customers. This all forms part of the initial discussions.
What measures are in place to ensure the safety and quality of the finished product?
Canify has an experienced team and process in place to always ensure the product is protected and that all measures are taken so you can rely on the drink being safe and as designed. We are in the process of SALSA accreditation.
What is the typical turnaround time?
That depends! We aim to meet expectations and will discuss all options. The simplest answer is the less rushed the order the more we can tick all the boxes.
What are the pricing and payment terms?
We are happy to send the rate sheet but every run is different so we would prefer to discuss and agree. As a new business we prefer to receive payment when the run is agreed and materials ordered.
What are the Terms & Conditions of sale?
The information we collect may vary based upon the Services we are providing to you, or you are providing to us. For example, we may collect the following information from you, such as, your name, email address, phone number and mailing address, when you request a quote through one of our websites.
Can you help with recipes and branding?
Canify has a team that is experienced in recipe development and product design. We also work with specialist companies and consultants. Similarly, we have access to label designers and suppliers including the latest digital printing technology.
Can Canify offer duty suspended service?
We are in the process of applying for duty suspended warehouse status and expect that to be approved by autumn 2023.
What is the water quality?
The Thames Water Quality Report is attached. It states that the area has “Excellent quality water with no infringements to report for the Water Supply Zone.”
